Can't take much more of this...

...it's currently 1:05 AM EST and the game is headed into extra innings. paplebon blew the save in the 9th on yet another clutch hit by Jeter, and the Sox just left the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th.
I'll tell you what, if this is a prolonged extra-inning affair that ends in defeat, well...
Fingers crossed, rally caps on, and pop open another cold beverage....
