NFL 2006 Opening Day Preview

FIVE THINGS TO WATCH FOR:

1.) T.O. DONS THE STAR
Fitting that a prissy prima donna would want the helmet with the star on it. He will start today when Dalls travels to Jax'ville. Over/under on his first meltdown w/ either Parcells or Bledsoe: 3rd quarter.

2.) REGGIE BUSH ERA BEGINS
The electrifying triple threat takes the field in- of all places- Cleveland, a perfect place for him to showcase his versatility as a runner, receiver, & returner. He should have no less than 200+ total yards against the Brownies.

3.)WHO WILL BE THE FINISHERS IN THE JETS/TITANS GAME?
We know that Chad Pennington(NYJ) and Kerry> Collins (TEN) will be the starters in their tilt today. But more importantly, will Patrick Ramsey (NYJ) and Vince Young (TEN) be on the field at the finish? Stay tuned...

4.) FAVRE'S FINAL YEAR IN CHEESETOWN
He thinks he's got a good team, talent-wise, and said so in the preseason. He also recently said he could envision himself playing elsewhere next season. Please- Favre out of Green Bay? That's like trying to imagine Paris Hilton not drinking! Better start the season off well or things could get ugly in the Bay.

5.) MARINELLI ERA OFF TO ROUGH START ALREADY
The 2nd pick in the 2003 draft, WR Charles Rodgers, was released; their assistant coach Joe Cullen was arrested & suspended for nude driving; they have a new starting QB (Jon Kitna); and they open with the defending NFC Champs, Seattle. Welcome to head coaching, Rod. Good luck.
Nude drunk driving now known as a "Cully"
